SPACEPARK360 is a 9-ride customizable show that takes audiences on a wild immersive. ride through the solar system. Created as a modular show, SPACEPARK360 is a set of Full dome movies designed to recreate the experience of amusement park thrill rides – roller coasters, pendulums, inverters, and more.
Tour of the Universe ESO (Y)
In under 5 min, journey from earth across the solar system, beyond the Milky Way Galaxy, all the way to the edge of the observable universe. Light from distant objects represents events and objects from the past, allowing us to peer into the ancient Universe. We are therefore able to travel back into time to the very beginning of the Universe, to witness the Cosmic Microwave Background, the afterglow of the Big Bang. So you will absorb the immense scale of the universe and cause you to reflect on Earth’s place in it.
A Glorious Dawn (Y)
John Boswell’s stirring remix of Carl Sagan’s “Cosmos” is featured in this planetarium adaptation of A GLORIOUS DAWN.
Astronomy Photographer 13 (Y)
Imagine sitting comfortably in a dark planetarium. You look up at the 360˚ screen and the room explodes with images of the Universe. The Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, run annually by the Royal Museums Greenwich, attracts the very best photographs of the Cosmos from around the world. Astronomy Photographer 14 (Y)
The Royal Observatory Greenwich proudly presents selected images of the Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2014 competition. Exhibited in glorious 360˚ and showcasing incredible images of the sky, you will marvel at spectacles from both within our Solar System and out in deep space. More photographs than ever of solar features, eclipses, aurorae, nebulae, star trails and much more were received as entries from around the world this year - and for the first time, even a photograph taken from the edge of Space!

Centennial of the Planetarium (Y)
The production of an anniversary show for the Centennial of the Planetarium is the biggest project of the anniversary year. This anniversary show is not intended to be an “ordinary” planetarium show (narrated only from the off, entirely or almost entirely CGI), but is intended to be particularly innovative through the involvement of actors, with a focus on good dialogues. To achieve this, professionals from the cinema film industry will be recruited.
Elephants Dream (N)
Elephants Dream is the story of two strange characters exploring a capricious and seemingly infinite machine. The elder, Proog, acts as a tour-guide and protector, happily showing off the sights and dangers of the machine to his initially curious but increasingly skeptical protege Emo. As their journey unfolds we discover signs that the machine is not all Proog thinks it is, and his guiding takes on a more desperate aspect.
Happy Birthday from the Stars (RA)
A new “Happy Birthday” song takes you on a quick tour of the solar system, ending in a supernova blast. Perfect for your birthday.
Losing the Dark (Y)
Starry skies are a vanishing treasure because light pollution is washing away our view of the cosmos. It not only threatens astronomy, it disrupts wildlife, and affects human health. The yellow glows over cities and towns — seen so clearly from space — are testament to the billions spent in wasted energy from lighting up the sky.

Journey to the Birth of the Solar System (Y)
Each meteorite plucked off the ground, every moon rock collected by Apollo astronauts and every measurement recorded by NASA’s far-flung probes has given planetary scientists important clues and insights into how our solar system formed and evolved. Join physicist David Kaplan on Quanta Magazine's tour showing how the sun, the Earth and the other planets came to be.
Journey to the Centre of the Milky Way (Y)
What lies at the heart of our galaxy? For twenty years, ESO’s Very Large Telescope and the Keck telescopes have observed the centre of the galaxy, looking at the motion of more than a hundred stars and identifying the position of an otherwise invisible object — the supermassive black hole at the centre of our galaxy. Embark on a JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE MILKY WAY and during seven min travel faster than light, from the driest place on Earth, the Atacama Desert in Chile right to the centre of our own galaxy, where a black hole is consuming anything that strays into its path. 84 million stars will appear in front of your eyes, each hiding mysteries waiting to be solved. Are there planets around them, perhaps with moons? Do they have water? Could they harbor life?

On the occasion of the International Year of Light, ZEISS has produced a fulldome teaser that takes planetarium visitors on a trip to the varied facets of light. Light affects our lives in much more ways than we are aware of. The short film approaches the phenomenon in a way that is both fascinating and informative. It will appeal to young and old, experts and the lay public, and to people all over the globe.
Melancholia Melancholia (Y)
Faces of Emptiness is an artistic 360° journey through surrealistic landscapes evoking feelings of loneliness and sadness, but also hope. In this short film, we visit a mysterious desert; walk through the colossal alleys of a large lifeless city; and fly with cosmic whales through outer space. Winner of the 2017 Jena Fulldome Festival JANUS Award for Use of Innovative Production Technologies.
Monsters of the Cosmos (Y)
Science and philosophy are brought to you through the medium of music in this spectacular fulldome show from the Symphony of Science. The mini-show is on the topic of black holes.
